Mom,

Bro. Hansen just buzzed my hair you can't really do anything else. haha. It looks really good though. Sister Hansen said so too. Mike and Cindy are still doing great. They are coming to church. The ward is doing really well with them. They will probably get baptized soon. It will be nice to see them get baptized. I can't believe Nicole is going to the singles ward. I guess we will be going together now. That will be fun...haha. Let me know how the sports are going. The weather here has been HOT. WE are roasting in these missionary clothes. By the end of the day I am so wiped out cause the sun just takes all my energy. But things are really going better for the area now. I want to see that Star Trek movie so bad. It looked way cool. You will have to buy it so I can watch it when I get back.I can't believe it has been a year(almost). I remember that a year ago today I was at Dale's doing that mission prep thing and then I said, I can't believe in 25 days I will be on a mission.Well I hope everything is going well. Tell everyone hello for me. Have a good week. Love you.

Love,

Brad

Brad's email 4/6/09

Mom,

Hey general conference was great. I really liked the priesthood session. And also that talk about getting on with your life. That was a good one for everyone I think. We didn't get any investigators to this one. We couldn't get a hold of them and our other ones were busy. We are still doing good though. Sister mulloy was in the hospital this last week. We were taking care of the house for her. She came home right before conference. It was good to see her doing well again.Thats exciting about Lacey. Too bad I won't be there for anything. I wish I could go to the wedding. Thats too bad about Curtis' mom. Is he still taking missionary lessons? Those lessons would help him fell better. Our weather has been pretty nice the last few days. We didn't wear suit coats yesterday. It was perfect. I heard that it has been snowy down there. I am glad I am missing it. I hate snow and cold. We are still working with our investigators. And we are trying to find more. The ward is kind of helping us. The Relief Society Pres. is the best though. She helps us out and points us to people all the time. Well tell everyone at work hello. Tell the bowens hello. I will talk to you next week. I love you
Love,
Brad

Young Women Choir at the Conference Center

Nicole is in the Young Women Choir at the Conference Center this Saturday March 28th. We were able to take pictures at the dress rehearsal. It will be broadcasted throughout the world. The girls are wearing shirts to resemble a sunburst. It looks amazing!

Brad's email on March 23rd

Mom,
Well I am getting a new companion tomorrow, I won't be training yet. But my new companion's name is Elder Colton and he's from Holladay too. He went to Olympus High School. I can't believe it. It should be a better transfer now. Well I am glad nicole got her patriarchal blessing. I remember when I went to get mine. That was a great experience. So it is still Brother Jarman that does them. He's a good guy. I hear that Dad was having some hunger problems during it. I have been hearing a lot about March Madness. Gonzaga is doing really good I hear. I also heard that all the Utah teams got knocked out. Thats too bad. So you are going to be at conference then? or just The YW session? After General Conference we don't have to wear our suit coats all the time anymore. I am way excited. The weather is a lot better now. It is raining a lot but it's pretty warm. It is actually nice to be outside again. Well today while we were playing basketball the temple was getting the angel Moroni replaced. We got to go see the old one up close. That thing is pretty big. There were bullet holes in it. How stupid......Right now we aren't teaching much. We found a couple and their kid to teach last week. Mike and Cindy. They have alot of questions so it should be good for us and them.I hope all is going well at home. Tell everyone hello. I love you.Love,Brad

Brad's email on February 2, 2009

Mom,

Hello, yes I am pretty excited that I will probably stay here in the same area with Elder Beck for another transfer. President said in interviews that we might get a car soon. I hope so. It would be so nice. We would be able to do so much more. We have found a ton of people to start teaching and things are doing really well for this area right now.
We went to the South Hill to see Dicky for his last P-day. He is freaking out. But things are going to be good for him. His mom is so excited for him to be back. He said he would call me when he knew when and where is homecoming would be so I could tell you. I hope you get to go. I will miss that guy.
Thats cool that the missionaries helped teach the lesson. We have to teach the full lesson sometimes and most of the time we help. Especially when there are investigators in church. Its fun sometimes. Other times it can be hard to fill the time. Since you have to keep things so simple.
I can't believe how quick the time is passing by. Its crazy to think I am in my 8th month. I will look forward to your letter. I love you
Love,
Brad

PS - Tell Austin I have a cold too and I hate it.
