Brad's email 12/17/08
Brad and his companion have been teaching an investigator named Mary, who is going to be baptized on December 27th. We are so proud of Brad.
Mom,
hey mom, everything is well with Mary. We go over there almost every day. She comes to church. She feeds us now. And she quit smoking. We are excited for her. And she is very excited to be baptized on the 27th. We are also teaching another kid named Christian Hart. His family is less active and they have started to come to church again. I love their family they are hilarious. The mom(Nicole) likes metal music. I couldn't believe it. We are doing great in the area right now.It has been too cold lately for us so we have just been setting up appointments and trying to get rides to them. Its too cold to walk. And all the other missionaries in the district have cars. I wish they would help more. Oh well the ward is helping us out a lot though.I still do need socks cause my feet get freezing up here. I am not completely sure what I want for Christmas. There isn't much that I can think of that I would use on a mission. I know you have some great things in mind.....I hope. I wish I could see the Sugar bowl. that will be awesome you will have to tell me how it goes. I can't believe Austin is playing the trombone, it's hard to even imagine. I remember playing the trumpet. That was pretty hard. They switched me to drums though and I was the drum leader. That was pretty fun I guess. How good is Austin?I am writing or trying to write a bunch of songs. I am trying to write about Angela's conversion story, it should be interesting I will tell you about it when I am done. I am talking to Bro. Leppert today about getting the pictures and videos on to the disc to send you. You will laugh your head off I promise. We have done some hilarious things up here.Well all is going well, except for the cold. I hate it, but the Lord is helping me through. We are opening up the gifts every night. We were way excited about it haha. thanks for sending that it's great. Well I hope you have a good week. Stay warm. Stay calm too. Don't get too stressed. Tell everyone hello. Love you

Austin running for a touchdown. His team took first place in the regular season and will now go to the playoffs. They play Granger on Saturday. We hope they will make it to the Championship.

Family photos
Lauren playing on the Skyline JV team. They won all their games except two against Alta. The Skyline Varsity team made it to the playoffs, although they lost their first game. It has been a great season for Skyline Soccer. Lauren will now play with her competition team. They will be playing in a tournament in Las Vegas over Thanksgiving.
Austin with his friend Nick Urry and his cousin Hayden. They have won all their games except to East. They will probably meet them again in the playoffs. We hope to beat them then. He is a running back on offense and is safety on defense.
Austin had a good run against West. We won 13 to 7. It was a very important game to win. We won on the last play in the last 3 seconds.
Lauren went to her first dance as a Sophmore. Brandon Urry asked her to the Homecoming Dance. They had a great time playing minature golf, eating at the Market Street Grill, going to the dance and watching a movie outside on a big screen.
We got a new puppy this summer, her name is Bella. She loves to lie on her back and wait for a tummy scratch. She is a spoiled addition to our family.
